Valentine’s Day
Dodge fans love their cars. We created a piece that celebrates this bond and establishes a “video voice“ for the brand that the fans could identify with immediately … cue the Barry White(ish) music and the smoke show.
St. Patrick’s Day
When the designated driver drives a Dodge, be prepared for a wild ride. The gag for this video was making the tire smoke appear green. Originally, we tried to source tires that would create green smoke. The special tires proved to be pretty hard to get, so we got creative with some very well-placed smoke canisters to create the effect.
426 HEMI Day
April 26th is a very special day for the Dodge brand. One of the most significant engines of the muscle car period is the 426 cubic inch HEMI V8. We were lucky enough to procure a modern version of this iconic engine in the form of a Challenger Drag Pak 426. You should have seen the giddy joy that spread across the face of our performance driver when he found out he was going to get to drive the Drag Pak for this Dodge-owned holiday.
Mother’s Day
Never forget that moms are some of the most badass people on the planet. You wouldn’t be here without one. We celebrated mothers around the world with a piece that resonated with Dodge fans of any gender. Pretty sure mom would be proud of the result.
National Donut Day
You may have noticed, the Dodge muscle cars excel at making noise and smoke. Put those things together with some expert driving and you have a donut. What better way to celebrate an American icon than by putting the Dodge spin on the holiday.
Fourth of July
You may have noticed we used the same location for our first batch of holiday video content. Well, it was time to stop playing around. We needed to get off the race track and into the real world to celebrate America’s independence. So, we took our next holiday piece to the streets with another piece featuring amazing driving and a very unique method of setting off fireworks.
Roadkill Nights Live Broadcast
In the city of Detroit, the Woodward Dream Cruise is a yearly celebration of the machines that have made the city great. Generating buzz that stands out during the cruise is a high hurdle to clear when there’s so much social conversation surrounding the event. We helped Dodge become the talk of the town by producing an 11-hour, 20 camera live broadcast of Roadkill Nights. Working in tandem with Motor Trend Group and M1 Concourse, we pulled together a production that featured legal street racing on a closed section of Woodward Avenue, thrill rides in the latest Dodge muscle cars, show n’ shine car show and tons of automotive and food vendors.
Black Cat Appreciation Day
When a manufacturer uses names like “Hellcat“ for their vehicles and there’s a holiday to build awareness for black cats that need to be adopted – it’s only natural that Dodge would create a video to celebrate both in the established Dodge style.
Halloween
Hellcat, Demon, Redeye … you can’t expect a car company that gives their vehicles names like these to ignore Halloween. This spooky epic was shot on and around the hills of Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. Thanks to some ingenuity, we were able to get two produced pieces out of the one planned shoot for Dodge.
Respect The Beast
This is the second piece we were able to create out of the Halloween shoot. The Dodge Demon was a limited run, special edition purpose built to go from the street to the drag strip. The torch this limited edition icon carried had to be passed. The successor was built with Demon technology and bred to be the ideal grand touring muscle car. This piece celebrated the availability of the new halo car, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye.
