Hot Rod Paulie » The Russel Mobile
In 2017 Dodge sponsored Hot Rod Drag Week and I was assigned to capture the experience from start to finish. Drag Week is an amazing event that tests the endurance of the cars taking part, but also builds amazing bonds among the participants. On day one, the film crew and I happened upon Paulie and his beloved tribute to his brother – a 1972 Challenger dubbed “The Russel Mobile.” We followed Paulie all week to capture footage and tell his story. In addition to this piece, 60 minutes of live footage from each day’s drag racing was broadcast on the Dodge Facebook and Instagram channels. The film crew also captured the recap sizzle videos below for the Dodge social channels.
